Headed to Grandma's house!

She was so excited to get on the plane and watch her movie (even though by the time you get the movie started, it's time to land)
Abi's new baby 'Ruby'. We think Ruby is pregnant, so Abi is even more excited to have ANOTHER horse (I think grandma likes to spoil ;o))

Abi thought it would be really fun to sleep in the KitchenAide box...but after about 2 minutes, she realized it was just a little to crowded for her LONG legs!
Abi and Ernie have a special bond. He may look like he's freaking out, but he really just loves to be held. Sweetest cat I've ever known!
Payton, Katie and Miss Manda met us at grandma's house for some fun in the snow and some fun with the horses. We haven't seen them since they moved to Idaho in August.
Riding Tink in the snow. First time on a horse for Payton and Katie and they did great! Payton was a natural.
Abi having fun on her horse. Never to cold to ride Tink.
It was so cold, that top of the snow was frozen. Abi would lay down to make a snow angel and we would have to push her down so that she could actually get to the soft snow. It was hilarious. She kept reciting to us 'only eat the clean snow, brown and yellow is gross, huh mom?' it was great!
Here's one after getting home. Lydia likes to climb to the very top of the play structure and lay in the sun. The only problem is...is that she can't get down! Abi has to climb up and save her every time! You would think she would learn!!

Starting to get the room together...finally!!

I will have a before picture soon (my mom took one and she needs to send it to me) of the room prior to my mom coming down and KICKING BUTT last weekend. Our 'spare room' (aka 'catch all room') is now Gus's bedroom. My mom came down last weekend on Wednesday night. After 2 truck loads to goodwill and a truck load to the dump, His room is cleaned out and we are now starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. The room was all white, but after cleaning out the boxes, we painted the lower part dark blue and have now installed a light blue chair rail around the room for character :o) We have decided to go with the "CountrySide" theme from Babies R Us, and it's just amazing what a valance and blue paint can do! We are currently just waiting on carpet to be installed so that we can finish the base board trim and door trim. Once those are in, the furniture can FINALLY be put in!!! It's getting so close!

Okay...decisions decisions

So, I have come across 2 bed sets that I am in LOVE with. I had decided on the plane/helicopter one and now all of a sudden, after visiting Babies-R-Us, I have found this one that I just don't know if I can live without :o) Anyways, I want YOUR opinions!

Abi's new door signs!!

Abi decided that she was going to make signs for her door. If you can't tell, these are 'No Mommy or Daddy Allowed'. I can't believe that she is only almost 4 and already kicking us out of her bedroom LOL! My baby is growing up so fast :o(

Breakfast with Santa 2007

Every year McMenamins throws what's called "Breakfast with Santa." This was our first year going. Thanks to a WONDERFUL friend that I met through teaching cake class, she was able to get us into the breakfast!! We sat right next to where Santa sat in his big chair and Abi just couldn't keep her eyes off him!! They get the most famous Santa in Portland...He's just great!!
She was telling him that she wanted a 'Littlest Pet Shop' puppy.

Abi got a pair of antlers when we got there. Got her right in the holiday spirit :o)

They also had a balloon guy who went around. Abi wanted a 'magic wand' and this is what she got!!

Happy December!

The most gorgeous girl around!!

This poor dog endures everything! To explain the picture, Zoey is wrapped TIGHT in a baby blanket, then put in Abi's recliner with a pillow. She stayed this way until Abi unwrapped her LOL (I think she just loves the attention)
Abi decided that it would be FUN to jump on the couch. Needless to say, she lost her balance and slammed into her little table she uses for writing. She wanted me to take pictures to make sure to show grandma her big girl ouchy!

This was just taken a few days ago. I was at work (only a few more weeks left with the cake decorating classes!!) Anyways, she was calling John. He told her that he would be there in a second...when he came downstairs, this is how he found her. Her movie she had been watching was paused and she was OUT!

Oh the belly...

Gus-Gus and his weirdo sister!!

Abi loves her little brother (atleast for now until he is screaming all night long :o))
