18 week ultrasound pics!!!

So, everything looks perfect...all body parts are there and functioning...so all I can say is YEAH and enjoy :o)

GRASS GRASS GRASS!!!

Well, John's grass has finally come in and he coulnd't be any happier. It's got a few little spots that need reseeding, but any new grass is gonna need a bit of help (especially with the dogs in the back yard mucking it up!)

Well, things are hectic and I'm working at Michael's 4 days a week until my new nanny job starts on November 1st. It's sooooo exciting and I really can't wait to start. The family is great and I'm watching 1 boy, so no new car for me...which is a blessing in disguise I guess :o) Anyways, Abi's getting big and learning so much in school. She still has some problems writing her name (she likes to spell is iAb or biA). She's learning her letters and numbers and is just getting way to big to be a 3 years old :o(
We have our 18wk baby-anatomy check on the 18th and so I'm hoping to get some great pictures of our little Gus-Gus. They'll be checking the heart, weight, length and other fun things that the doctor wants. John is determined to ask for another 'boy shot' just to make sure that it really is his little boy. He's already enjoying looking and picking up a few boy clothes though!! Gus is getting big, but he's so much less active then Abi EVER was at this time...Hopefully he'll stay that way and be a bit more calm then Abi was LOL...we will see :o)

Let the boy shopping begin!!!

So here is what I'm thinking the baby's room will be like. I got some Disney Lithographs from the movie Cars, so I am thinking of having those professionally framed for his room. It's so different shopping for boy things! It's kind of surreal at this point. Anyways, I'm having a blast looking at blue stuff and buying a few little blue clothes and blankets ;-)
Abi's still mad at us...but I'm hoping she'll get over it soon LOL

Baby Peek #2

Well, we had our 2nd ultrasound to see when exactly we are due. Per how they usually figure it out, we are 2 weeks off from what the baby is measuring, so we had to come back after a month and get another measurement. Well, we are measuring still 2 weeks behind, so we are going with that date! Due March 20th, 2008. These are 12wk photos taken today, Sept 6th, 2o07. Our anatomy scan will be on October 18th. PLEASE send baby boy thoughts our way :o) So here are the wonderful pics of our cute little peanut. I'm so glad we were able to get a good profile pic. He was getting very ticked with the ultrasound tech, Donna, and moving constantly (especially when it was quiet and Abi would talk). It's very cute. Anyways, hope you enjoy!!

Our new backyard :o)

This is our new backyard! We took out a few of the bushes that were against the back fence (see previous pictures of playstructure a while back), put in the new cedar fence, leveled the yard, put big sliverless cedar chips under abi's structure and now if you look closely, you can see John's baby grass!! He's OBSESSED! :o) Anyways, I can't wait to have a wonderful backyard with soft grass! I'll keep the pictures updated as the grass gets better!

Saying goodbye to friends :o(

Our friends are moving to 'middle of no where, Idaho', so we had one last play date yesterday. Hopefully we will still keep up with them when they move :o)

Here is just a general update :o) Of course, these are from Coos Bay on July 4th. We went out to the beach where there were HUNDREDS of people! It was the most amazing thing. Everyone was doing fireworks up and down the beach. It was just amazing!! Anyways, Abi had a blast, as this was the first year she's actually got to be around and let off fireworks. Her first few years, we just have seen them in the air from a distance and down the road...not up close :o)

GEORGE STRAIT PICTURES!!!

Okay, it's been a while since I've posted...I'M SORRY :o) So here is my big excitement!! In January 2007, I went to see George Strait...yes, THE GEORGE STRAIT OF COUNTRY!!!! We were 7th row, RIGHT in front of the gorgeous man himself!! Anyways, my friend Amanda had just had twins 4 days earlier and we were a bit spaced out from that experience...so we actually LEFT our camera in the trunk of the car in the parking garage...I KNOW, I KNOW! Anyways, so I'm teaching cake decorating and my student and I got on the topic of country music and George Strait. Come to find out, she was actually just a fews rows up and over from us AND HAS PICTURES!! So here are the pictures she sent me. I hope you enjoy as much as I did!!
