Well, we had our 2nd ultrasound to see when exactly we are due. Per how they usually figure it out, we are 2 weeks off from what the baby is measuring, so we had to come back after a month and get another measurement. Well, we are measuring still 2 weeks behind, so we are going with that date! Due March 20th, 2008. These are 12wk photos taken today, Sept 6th, 2o07. Our anatomy scan will be on October 18th. PLEASE send baby boy thoughts our way :o) So here are the wonderful pics of our cute little peanut. I'm so glad we were able to get a good profile pic. He was getting very ticked with the ultrasound tech, Donna, and moving constantly (especially when it was quiet and Abi would talk). It's very cute. Anyways, hope you enjoy!!

Our new backyard :o)
This is our new backyard! We took out a few of the bushes that were against the back fence (see previous pictures of playstructure a while back), put in the new cedar fence, leveled the yard, put big sliverless cedar chips under abi's structure and now if you look closely, you can see John's baby grass!! He's OBSESSED! :o) Anyways, I can't wait to have a wonderful backyard with soft grass! I'll keep the pictures updated as the grass gets better!

Our friends are moving to 'middle of no where, Idaho', so we had one last play date yesterday. Hopefully we will still keep up with them when they move :o)

A few pics from July 4th :o)
Here is just a general update :o) Of course, these are from Coos Bay on July 4th. We went out to the beach where there were HUNDREDS of people! It was the most amazing thing. Everyone was doing fireworks up and down the beach. It was just amazing!! Anyways, Abi had a blast, as this was the first year she's actually got to be around and let off fireworks. Her first few years, we just have seen them in the air from a distance and down the road...not up close :o)
The biggest sandbox she's ever seen!Abi and Auntie Becki
This was just the people at the beginning of our evening in our group...there were hundreds more up and down the beach.
Here's a picture facing toward the Jetty. It's kinda blurry, but if you click on it, you can see how many people there are just where we could see them!!
More pics of Abi sleeping in wierd positions :o)
I LOVE YOU!

GEORGE STRAIT PICTURES!!!
Okay, it's been a while since I've posted...I'M SORRY :o) So here is my big excitement!! In January 2007, I went to see George Strait...yes, THE GEORGE STRAIT OF COUNTRY!!!! We were 7th row, RIGHT in front of the gorgeous man himself!! Anyways, my friend Amanda had just had twins 4 days earlier and we were a bit spaced out from that experience...so we actually LEFT our camera in the trunk of the car in the parking garage...I KNOW, I KNOW! Anyways, so I'm teaching cake decorating and my student and I got on the topic of country music and George Strait. Come to find out, she was actually just a fews rows up and over from us AND HAS PICTURES!! So here are the pictures she sent me. I hope you enjoy as much as I did!! Taylor Swift was his opening act, then came Ronnie Milsap and then the Gentlemen George!

Abi's ballet recital
Well, the ballet and gymnastics rectial went well. If you have a myspace account, you can view video at my website under 'video'. My addy is myspace.com/jaapeek
Anyways, she wasn't to excited about the ballet part. She's been in Seattle since Monday, so she was tired and cranky. She hasn't really been into ballet a whole lot anyways, so this just confirmed my feeling to put her in JUST gymnastics next term (starts next Saturday). Anyways, enjoy some of the pics. I got a new camcorder that can record and take pictures at the same time so these are pictures from it (since our camera was on the verge of dying the entire recital (I know, I know)...so anyways, enjoy :o)

:o)
My mom and Bob came to visit the middle of May. We had 4 awesome days with them and Abi had a blast!
She was so tired...I still don't know how the blanket ended up like this LOL
Poor Zoey ran under the swing while Abi was swinging and got kicked in the tail area. We think she actually sprained or broke her poor little tail...It took about 4 days for it to finally get to where you could touch it. This is her pouting on the deck in the sun a few hours after it happened.
My brothers son, Sebastian, came to visit for the day. They had a blast on the play structure all day. Sebastian is 9 months older then Abi.
Abi is now into posing for pictures...
Don't you wish you could sleep anywhere without feeling like you are 50 when you wake up??? :o)

Update of just...stuff :o)
My beautiful new wreath for the door! I saw this and just HAD to buy it! We have a beautiful florist at Michael's and I'm becoming a very VERY quick fan of her work :o)
Here is abi's new play structure. John is very proud of this and it's amazing how fast it actual went up. It will be moved further back in the yard once we get the new fence built. There is a slide, 2 swings, a tire swing, a rock climb mountain (the colored rocks thing) to the top tower, another mountain (a little easier to climb) on the lower tower opposite the slide and a cargo net opposite the rock mountain. We are going to till a rectangle a bit larger then the structure and put those big cedar sliverless chips so it's a bit more friendly to play in :o)The new fence (well, atleast this section :o)) We started with the street side of the yard since that is the side I'm most worried about. Nothing like being on a corner so that EVERYONE can see what you're doing in the backyard! Anyways. This same design will wrap all the way around the entire backyard (I'm especially excited to cover up the view of our back neighbors house...see above picture of the play structure!!) You know what they say, 'good fences make good neighbors!'
