Christmas 2009 and New Year 2010

Has it really been that long?? Okay, so I have been a HORRIBLE blog keeper. Time to change that :o) Here is an update!

I am still without a car and we are just waiting to find the 'right one'. We luckily have John's mom's truck, so it isn't a super need to settle. That is nice because it is REALLY hard to find a nice car that isn't going to break down or need a new transmission a month into owning it in this lovely city. The other thing to fight with is the SUPER high miles on everything! How can a 2004 have 200k miles?? WHAT!?!? We are looking into Volvo, Honda and Toyota. They are, to me, the most dependable and safest cars...especially the volvo. With having our car totalled by a low speed fender-bender, I am starting to really look at an SUV or a van (aka Grocery Getter, as a friend likes to call it lol). Of course, the 3rd row would be nice too :o)

John is still job searching. He has applied for multiple, but there are just so many that are looking, all at the same time! I hope something comes around. He is still looking into school spring term. We are hoping that we can get the financial aide and that it will work with our finances. Only time will tell...

Abi is enjoying school. I can't believe she is almost out of Kindergarten! Where did the time go? She is getting so big...now if we can only work on the responsibility part :o) I'm hoping that will come in time. She is reading like crazy and enjoying 'SUN' school. This is an after school class where she goes straight from school too. She now learning Latin Boogie (aka the Salsa, etc) She is VERY excited! I am hoping she teaches me something :o)

Gus is growing like a weed! He will be 2 in March...can you believe that?? He talks constantly and LOVES watching football with John. All he ever talks about is 'fooball'! Other then that, he is just an overly active almost 2 year old!
