I GOT THE JOB!!!

I got the job and start on Thursday for training. I will be doing weekend doubles which mean 7am-11pm!!!! I'm STOKED!!!

Amanda came up on Saturday the 12th and hung out for the day. We had a blast and the girls enjoyed being together. We hadn't seen them since they came to visit in January.

Abi has now decided that Tinkerbelle is 'her horse' and she is giving Harley to her brother. Her reasoning is that 'Tink is a girl and she's a girl and Harley is a boy and brother is a boy!' LOLJust walkin along :o)

Test Date!!!!!

So I am set up for testing on August 16th in Lebanon, Oregon!! The Oregon State Board of Nursing only has a few test dates a month around Oregon. Most people are holding out for Portland area which is a 1-2 month wait! I, of course, am willing to travel anywhere in order to get a job and start paying bills with a paycheck instead of savings (which we have been doing since March)...So, with talking to the school, the only openings in August were for Lebanon and Eugene, with the closest date being in Lebanon...so here we go! I will keep you all posted about testing developments as they come up!

I'm finished!!

Well, I finished my clinicals on Thursday the 3rd...WOOHOO!!! I'm hoping to get on at West Hills where I did my clinicals. I spoke with the staffing person, and she said to have fun at my mom's house and give her a call when I get back. She said that we can get me started right away!! I'm so excited. This is exactly what I was hoping for (until I get my certif and can work at a hospital). The residents are great, the facility doesn't smell bad and the pay is great!!!!!!! I will keep you all posted and will be updating picture constantly while I'm up here. Abi will be riding her horses without assistance this summer, so there will lots of pictures of that big step :o)

His new binky! We have tried EVERY binky in the WORLD! Playtex has now come out with one that is like a mommy's nipple. He has NEVER went to sleep with a binky before and today this was a breakthrough!
