2 month checkup

So on Wednesday, Gus went in for his 2 month checkup! He is weighing in at a whopping 15# 3 oz (95%) and 24" long (75%). He is growing so fast...he just amazes me everyday! I'll post a few new pics when I have the time. He got shots Wednesday and is a bit sore and needy :o(

EXCITING NEWS!!!

GUS HAS SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT!!!

On Saturday night, I fed him, put him down like any other night to bed and at 5:30am on Sunday morning when I got up for work...he was STILL SLEEPING! I asked John where the baby was and he shot out of bed and over to the bassinet to check him. He was still breathing, of course, but he had slept through the night. Now, Abi had done this a few times when she was young and it only lasted for that one night...so I didn't get to excited. On Sunday night, we put him down in the bassinet again. Again, he slept through the night! So, last night we actually put him down in his crib. I slept with the monitor next to my ear, but he did GREAT!

Life is good and mommy is finally going to get more sleep!!!! :o)

Abi got a new bike so that she can keep up better with mommy and Gus in the jogging stroller...so she was able to pick out a Princess bike! She's absolutely beside herself! :o) (please excuse the mess behind her...I'm starting a garage sale pile!)

While daddy was in the shower, mommy was changing Gus. Well, he ended up throwing up right after I took his diaper off of him. So, I grabbed a wipe really quick so it wouldn't get all over his hair. Within 5 seconds he started peeing ALL OVER himself and his clothes...Needless to say, he was then thrown into the shower with daddy (and a new photo-op) for his first shower :o)He's so good at holding his head up, we decided to get a bumbo and see how he did. His head is still not as strong as it could be for the bumbo, but I had to get a pic of his 'first time' in it :o)
This is what I found getting out of the shower the other day. I think he's finally starting to grow on Lydia LOL
