OSBN Test

Well, I decided not to post about my test results unless I passed....and I PASSED!!! WOOHOO! I took the test on Saturday the 16th and was SCARED TO DEATH. The lady wasn't very nice and so I had pretty much convinced myself that I was going to fail and was planning where and when I would retest. I received an email today saying that my test results were available online...so I logged on and it stated WRITTEN EXAM - PASSED, SKILLS EXAM - PASSED! I was so relieved!

Just thought I'd let you all know about my excitement!

This is cute...Gus was hanging out in his carseat after we got back from running around. Abi drug his carseat into grandma's room, propped him up on the foot of the bed so they could watch tv together. Gus was very excited and thought he was such a big boy!

Gus found his feet while at Grandma's house. He is VERY proud of himself and so we had to get a picture of it :o)

Gus's first cereal...

While up at my moms, we decided to start baby cereal. I have been reading studies and there is so much conflicting information regarding starting feedings at 4 months or 6 months. Because he's always attempting to grab our food, I decided to start him on the cereal. When I first put the spoon up to his mouth, he opened wide...but then....

...he had NO idea what to do with it once it was in his mouth. He sat and looked at me with his mouth open for about 10 seconds...
...once he swallowed it though, he was VERY EXCITED and started reaching for the spoon and opening his mouth even wider. It was very cute :o)
